The cleanliness activity was carryout out at Port Users Building and also at North Gate Area. The staircase, passages of Port Users Building cleaned and also roads at the North Gate were cleaned. The awareness about cleanliness was created among port users and TT drivers. The photographs are enclosed.
Plantation:- The process of Plantation is in progress and approximately 15,000 ornaments and shrubs were planted and 3000 tree saplings are planted.
Painting and Whitewashing:- Painting and Whitewashing of public buildings in township i.e. hospital and school is in progress and the 90% job is over.
Beatification and Cleaning of park:- The job is ongoing.
Disposal of E-waste, Plastic wastes and bulb and tubes, hazardous waste etc.:- The work order has been given to M/s. Mercury Metal Industries, Mumbai, M/s. Meghani Enterprises, Mumbai and Nafees Enterprises Nashik respectively for the above said job
Plan for September 2015:- The cleanliness drive in training center / guest house and the private terminals i.e. DP World Pvt. Ltd (NSICT) and AMP Terminals Pvt. Ltd. (GTIPL). The target group is port employees as well as private terminal operator employees.
