Swaach Bharat Abhiyan At JNPT 2015-16

ACTIVITIES IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2015:-

   The cleanliness drive were carried out at training center, guest house and also at the private terminal operators i.e. NSICT and GTIPL. Apart from this following action has also been taken:-

2. The cleaning of wharf:- The action is being taken through existing housekeeping contract.
3. Cleaning and repairs of shed:- The work order has been given for repairing of sheds
4. Repair of port roads:- The potholes are filled through existing contract.
5. Cleaning of port roads:- The port roads are cleaned  through existing housekeeping contract.
6. Painting roads signs and zebra crossing etc.:- The action in this regard is in progress.
7. Neat paving of the pavements and cement furniture along pavements:- Localized repair to yard pavements through ongoing contract.
8. Beautification and cleaning of parks:- The work is being carried out.
9. Covering tiles moram in open areas:- The leveling of open space is being carried out.
10. Modernization of toilets in port area:- The contract is awarded for repairing of toilets in auto garage.
11.  Cleanliness of toilets in operation area:- The toilets are cleaned through existing contractor.
12.  Boards indicating cleanliness message:- The necessary boards are placed.
13.  Removing unnecessary vegetation:- This is ongoing job and is being carried out through existing contract.
14.  Pamphlets distributed to Visitors, Port customers  as part of awareness to Port keep Clean.
