DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
Shri Neeraj Bansal, an Officer of Indian Revenue Service (IT:94), a Post Graduate in Law.
After joining Indian Revenue Service in 1994, he worked in the Ministry of Finance in various capacities at Punjab, Haryana and Mumbai. He has more than 20 years of experience across the country in the general managerial capacity in handling the Legal, Personnel, Co-ordination, Vigilance Administrative matters.
Vast experience of Direct Tax Administration, Investigation, Tax-payer service, experience in formulation of tax-policy and its administration. Handled the Harshad Mehta scam cases and was actively involved in the case of Vodafone India Services Pvt Ltd.
He joined as Deputy Chairman, JNPT on 22nd August, 2014.
